The Church History

We are group Church in Western Europe and our overall desire and commitment to live our lives based on the teaching of Jesus Christ.

LOMEM VISION

Our vision is to encourage and empower each person to discover, develop and deploy their uniqueness to the glory of God and benefit of Mankind.

SAFEGUARDING POLICY STATEMENT

  • At Lamp of Mercy Evangelical Ministries,UK (LOMEM), we are committed to creating and manipulating the safest possible environment for the purposes of Safeguarding and protecting all our members, particularly children, young people and vulnerable adults.

  • We believe that it is unacceptable for any child, young or vulnerable adults to experience abuse of any kind and we recognise our responsibility to safeguard their welfare, while at the same time providing those who worship in LOMEM with Pastoral care.

  • We are also committed to a safeguarding practice which protects every member and attendee of the Church.

  • The policy applies to the staff, volunteers and anyone working on behalf of the Church.

  • We will also offer Pastoral care and support to anyone who has suffered from any kind of abuse by counselling and helping them through a healing process which is in line with the Word of God.

  • If an allegation is made against any member of staff, the staff will be withdrawn from serving with Children, young people and vulnerable adults in order for an investigation process to be initiated by the Designated Safeguarding Lead and Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead of the Church.

GET INVOLVED

From your first visit to LOMEM , you are considered a member of the family. Once an individual has decided to make LOMEM their spiritual home, they are taken through the LOMEM Bible Classes, which include visitors class, Baptismal, Members and Workers.

 

Once these classes are completed, you have been formally accepted as a member, you can then move onto serving within one of LOMEM’S departments.
